Compensation FAQs

Is there paid overtime at Axelerant?

In short, no.

We value life balance at Axelerant and strive to encourage and nurture it. Most often, working overtime for extended periods of time indicates a fundamental failure in our planning and communication. When this happens at Axelerant, it’s a sign that something needs fixing. If you find yourself working long hours or feeling like that your life balance is out of whack, be sure to raise the issue with your team and #people-ops for help. Don't wait.

During engagement planning, by the discretion of project and success managers, compensatory leave might be granted for atypical work timing requests. E.g., Saturday production launches with the following Friday off.

My role isn’t listed in salary ranges. What increments apply to me?

Contact people@Axelerant.com to have your salary range identified.

What happens if I am at the top of my salary band and there’s nothing beyond it?

See Salary Appraisals.

What about commissions for revenue generation roles?

We don’t have any commissions at this time. For now, the closest option is to file for an OKR over and above your KPI targets.

What about ESOPs?

This is still being worked on. There are many other implications, such as compliance and the organization structure, that need to be considered here.

Are the raise percentages absolute as per KPIs?

The salary review committee of executives and relevant directors will approve the raises and has the authority to override them.
