The Performance Coach, like a career coach, regularly helps Axelerant’s team members understand and achieve their expectations through honest conversations and feedback outside of their key stakeholder relationships. Additionally, Performance Coaches support Axelerant’s team members to better fit by helping them empower themselves, facilitate personal and professional development, removing behavioral barriers, and bridging leadership and team members' career and concern aspects through https://axelerant.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/OA/pages/3125575784.

Further, Axelerant’s coaches aid safe space creation for every team member. Enabling them to ask about any Axelerant situation freely, remove communication barriers, and make departments and service areas better by suggesting proper challenges for people.

This is a remote-based position, open for well-qualified people from anywhere. Travel may occur, though much of the work occurs from your remote office at home or wherever desired. Work is often done in small teams or independently and with minimal supervision in either situation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for helping team members understand their role’s expectations

  • Responsible for helping team members define their Individual Development Plan

  • Supports team members in achieving their Individual Development Plan

  • Responsible for regularly supporting team members to meet their role’s expectations

  • Responsible for maintaining a reusable and actionable performance coaching framework

Supplemental Responsibilities

  • Responsible for coaching or facilitating skills training when relevant

  • Responsible for escalating people’s challenges to relevant leaders with appropriate calls to action

  • Responsible for own self-development to better serve team members

  • Support team’s leadership to ensure new joiners are onboarded and engaged

  • Supports being reachable for team members in an extraordinary situation

Requirements

  • At least five years of relevant coaching or learning and development experience

  • Formal coaching certifications or training

  • Strong English communication and team collaboration skills
