Overview
Kantata Pulse is a lightweight feedback survey built into Kantata platform. It captures input from both internal team members and clients, giving us a real-time sense of how people feel about projects beyond just timelines and deliverables.
Unlike traditional metrics, Pulse provides sentiment data across key categories—Happiness, Confidence, and Collaboration—on a 1–10 scale. This helps us balance delivery outcomes with human experience.
Categories View
Each project collects ratings in Happiness, Confidence, and Collaboration, which can be viewed for both clients and team members. This dual perspective helps us:
Spot gaps between client and team sentiment
See whether internal optimism matches external confidence
Identify areas where collaboration needs strengthening
Scoring Framework
Scores are simple to interpret:
🚨 1–3 → Clear red flags, urgent attention needed
⚠️ 4–6 → Neutral or mixed, worth deeper conversations
🙂 7–8 → Positive, healthy signals to maintain
✅ 9–10 → Strong confidence and alignment
Why It Adds Value
Early Warning System: Numbers alone don’t show morale—Pulse highlights concerns before they become delivery risks.
Balanced Insight: We get both client voice and team voice, enabling more transparent conversations.
Trend Awareness: Tracking scores over time shows whether actions are improving sentiment or not.
Conversation Starter: Scores aren’t the final word, but they prompt meaningful dialogue about workload, clarity, and relationships.
Continuous Improvement: By surfacing real experiences, we can refine how we deliver—not just what we deliver.
Example Scenario
A project receives the following Pulse scores:
Team Confidence: 8 (positive)
Client Confidence: 4 (neutral/low)
This gap signals that while the team feels in control, the client may not fully share that confidence. Without Pulse, this disconnect might go unnoticed until later. With Pulse, we can address communication and alignment early, reducing risk and building trust.
