Strategic Initiatives
Caveats
Contribution to initiatives Is Core, Not Conditional
Whether you’re on a client engagement or not, contributing to Axelerant’s growth is an explicit expectation for everyone. No Idle Periods
When client delivery isn’t taking all your time, the focus shifts to initiatives that move the organisation forward — building assets, improving processes, or sharpening skills.Accountability Is Personal
Each person owns how they contribute. Time not spent on client work isn’t free time — it’s self-directed ownership of value creation.Recognition and Consequences Are Linked
Contributions — on client projects or organisational initiatives — feed directly into recognition, skills growth, and career progression. Lack of contribution is visible and factored into performance conversations.Feedback Loop Is Built-In
Recognition: showcased in all-hands, Slack, or townhall updates.
Skills: mapped to growth paths and professional development.
Career: contributions are explicitly reviewed in performance evaluations and influence promotions.
