1. Kindness Leave Announcement DRAFT

With the advent of COVID-19, some of our team members have rising anxiety. This seems to increase when applying for leave to recuperate from COVID-19 themselves or care for family members.

Axelerant acknowledges that this is a tough phase for all of us. And to help reduce stress, we’re launching Kindness Leave.

Kindness leave will help us:

  • Donate leaves to a Kindness Leave Pool as desired to assist others

  • When Consolidated Leaves are exhausted, and health or medical situations arise, be granted additional leave

  • Demonstrate social support for team members

Our Leave Benefits policy will be updated by the end of June 2021, with Kindness Leave guidelines.

 

2. Overtime Policy Announcement DRAFT

With the steep rise in the COVID-19 positive cases, some of our team members are taking extra work responsibilities of their peers, who have to take unplanned leaves to recuperate from COVID-19 or to take care of family members.

Axelerant acknowledges and appreciates all your efforts and would want to help you cope better by providing Overtime Allowance.

You will be eligible for this allowance when:

  • You take on additional deliverables due to COVID-19 related medical emergencies of a team member and work more than 8 hours a day and more than 40 hours. a week.

  • The additional hours should be more than 4 hours to avail Overtime allowance.

  • Your Overtime Allowance has been approved by your Project Manager/CSM

We would be launching the Overtime Policy effective from April 1, 2021.

 

3. Financial aid for COVID-19 Home Quarantine cases DRAFT

The financial aid is to help support our team members who might be Home Quarantined and cannot get the expenses claimed by Insurance or who are in immediate need of financial aid for Hospitalization of self or a family member (Parents, Spouse and Children)

You will be eligible for this allowance when:

  • You can request for financial aid if you or your family member is COVID-19 positive

  • In case of Home quarantine, an amount up to 14,000 INR can be requested for Medicines and tests, will be automatically approved once you share the COVID-19 positive report using this form

  • In case your request is for more than 14,000 INR, you can the request for the same through - Axelerant Covid Relief form. Your request will be reviewed by People Operations team within 48 hours.
