How to Debug common issues

Before getting too deep here, are you running the latest versions of WordPress, themes, and plugins?

#1 Fix - Most Common Issues

Testimonials Widget

• Got Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC…? See Most Axelerant Plugins Require PHP 5.3+
• Shortcode not working? Make sure your theme isn't using same shortcode.
• 404 - Page not found
• Add testimonials using Gravity Forms
• Change styling or debug CSS
• Customize bxSlider Debug theme and plugin conflicts - See sections #2 Fix and #3 Fix below.
• How do I create a testimonial record?
• How do I reset options?
• How to change testimonials layout
• My options don't work
• Pagination is broken
• Test Review schema output
• Testimonials slider doesn't rotate

Custom Bulk/Quick Edit

• How do I add custom columns to my edit page?
• How do you configure options?
• Where can I find working samples?
• Got Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC…? See Most Axelerant Plugins Require PHP 5.3+
• Debug theme and plugin conflicts

#2 Fix

• Go to WordPress > Appearance > Themes
• Activate WordPress theme TwentyTwelve
• If URLs work, then you have a theme conflict and should ask your themer to debug further
• Else, apply #2 Fix

#3 Fix

• Go to WordPress > Plugins
• Deactivate other plugins one at a time
• After each deactivation, try to repeat the error. If still there, repeat #2 Fix process
• Once you find the plugin conflict, email support@axelerant.com with the information
